A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA ACKNOWLEDGING THE RESULTS OF THE SURPLUS EQUIPMENT SALE AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PROCEED WITH THE DISPOSITION OF THE SURPLUS EQUIPMENT.
WHEREAS, the Invitation to Bid was advertised in the Homer News on April 19, 26 and May 3, 2001; and
WHEREAS, Sealed bids were due in the Office of the City Clerk by 2:00 p.m. on May 11, 2001; and
WHEREAS, five sealed bids were received on the salvaged aluminum ramp, one sealed bid on the postal scale, two sealed bids on the step machine, one bid was received on the compound bow and one bid was received on the punching bag; and
WHEREAS, the highest bidders were the recipients of the surplus equipment and the other items not bid on will be disposed of in accordance with HCC 18.30.010.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska acknowledges the results of the Surplus Equipment Sale and authorizes the City Manager to proceed with the disposition of the surplus equipment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 29th day of May, 2001.
