RESOLUTION 01-40

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKAAUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DEVELOP A DETAILED SCOPE OF WORK AND TO NEGOTIATE A LUMP SUM FEE FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES FOR THE ANIMAL SHELTER FACILITY WITH THE FIRM OF KLUGE & ASSOCIATES OF KENAI, ALASKA.

WHEREAS, the Request for Proposals was advertised in the Homer News on May 17 and 24, 2001, in the Anchorage Daily News on May 20, 2001, sent to three plans rooms and was posted on the City's Home Page; and

WHEREAS, Sealed proposals were due in the Office of the City Clerk by 4:00 p.m. on June 4, 2001; and

WHEREAS, three sealed proposals were received, evaluated and scored; and

WHEREAS, Kluge & Associates of Kenai, Alaska received the highest score from the evaluating team.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska hereby authorizes the City Manager to develop a detailed scope of work and to negotiate a lump sum fee for Architectural Services for the Animal Shelter Facility with the Firm of Kluge & Associates.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 25th day of June, 2001.
