RESOLUTION 01-41

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE RENEWAL OF THE JAIL SERVICE CONTRACT WITH THE STATE OF ALASKA AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, the Jail Contact with the State of Alaska generates $336,003.04 in revenue for the City of Homer and is budgeted; and

WHEREAS, Chief of Police Robl recommends approval and acceptance of this renewal.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska approves and accepts the renewal of the Jail Service Contract with the State of Alaska and authorizes the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 25th day of June, 2001.
