RESOLUTION 01-57

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKAAWARDING THE BID FOR THE LIBRARY STAIN, REPAIR AND ROOF REHABILITATION PROJECT TO THE FIRM OF AM SERVICES OF NIKOLAEVSK, ALASKA IN THE AMOUNT OF $9,100.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, the Invitation to Bid was advertised in the Homer News on July 19 & 26, 2001, sent to three plans rooms and was posted on the City's Home Page; and

WHEREAS, Sealed bids were due in the Office of the City Clerk by 2:00 p.m. on August 3, 2001; and

WHEREAS, two sealed bids were received with AM Services of Nikolaevsk, Alaska submitting the lowest responsive and responsible bid; and

WHEREAS, this award is not final until written notification is received by AM Services of Nikolaevsk, Alaska from the City of Homer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska awards the bid for the Library Stain, Repair and Roof Rehabilitation Project to the firm of AM Services of Nikolaevsk, Alaska in the amount of $9,100.00 and that the City Manager is authorized to execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 13th day of August, 2001.
