RESOLUTION 01-59

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKAAWARDING THE BID FOR THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES VEHICLE TO THE FIRM OF ROCKY MOUNTAIN AMBULANCE SALES AND SERVICE, INC. OF PARAGONAH, UTAH IN THE AMOUNT OF $115,400.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, the Invitation to Bid was advertised in the Homer Tribune on 7/18/01 and 7/25/01, posted on Home Page on 7/12/01, sent to three in state plans rooms and sent to qualified ambulance vendors; and

WHEREAS, sealed bids were due in the Office of the City Clerk by 2:00 p.m. on August 8, 2001; and

WHEREAS, two sealed bids were received with Rocky Mountain Ambulance Sales and Service, Inc. of Paragonah, Utah submitting the most responsive and responsible bid; and

WHEREAS, this award is not final until written notification is received by Rocky Mountain Ambulance Sales and Services, Inc. of Paragonah, Utah from the City of Homer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska awards the bid for the Emergency Medical Services Vehicle to the firm of Rocky Mountain Ambulance Sales and Service, Inc. of Paragonah, Utah in the amount of $115,400.00 and that the City Manager is authorized to execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 27th day of August, 2001.
