RESOLUTION 01-70 (S)(A)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA NOMINATING LOCAL AND AREAWIDE PROJECTS FOR THE 2004-2006 STATEWIDE TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PLAN (STIP).

WHEREAS, the City of Homer is in receipt of a notice from ADOT/PF requesting nominations of projects for the 2004-2006 STIP; and

WHEREAS, the deadline for project nominations is October 3, 2001.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska hereby nominates the following Local and Areawide projects for the 2004-2006 Statewide Transportation Improvement Plan:

1. Sterling Highway [By-Pass] Traffic Signals

2. Pioneer Avenue/Heath Street -- Homer High School Access

3. Bike Trail Re-alignment - Beluga Slough to Homer Spit

4. Baycrest Ski Trailhead -- Homestead Trailhead Rehabilitation

5. Paving Freight Dock Road

6. Sterling Highway Traffic Circles

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Homer on this 24th day of September, 2001.
