RESOLUTION 02-32

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA AWARDING THE PRISONER MEAL SERVICE CONTRACT TO MCDONALD’S OF HOMER, ALASKA AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, the Invitation to Bid was advertised in the Homer News on April 18 and 25, 2002 and posted on the City's Home Page; and

WHEREAS, sealed bids were due in the Office of the City Clerk by 2:00 p.m. on May 3, 2002; and

WHEREAS, two sealed bids were received with McDonald’s of Homer, Alaska submitting the lowest responsive bid; and

WHEREAS, McDonald’s submitted a bid amount for breakfast of $5.00, for lunch of $6.25 and for dinner of $9.75; and

WHEREAS, this award is not final until written notification is received by McDonald’s Of Homer, Alaska by the City of Homer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska awards the Prisoner Meal Contract to McDonald’s of Homer, Alaska and that the City Manager is authorized to execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 28th day of May, 2002.
