RESOLUTION 02-54

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA AWARDING THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICE CONTRACT TO LARSON CONSULTING GROUP OF ANCHORAGE, ALASKA FOR THE DESIGN OF THE HILLSIDE ACRES WATER AND SEWER ASSESSMENT DISTRICT IN THE AMOUNT OF $144,245.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

            WHEREAS, Resolution 02-08, adopted at the Regular Council meeting on January 28, 2002 authorized the Administration to Negotiate the fees regarding the Professional Engineering Design Services for Various Water and Sewer LIDS; and

            WHEREAS, Negotiations for a fair and reasonable price have concluded with Larson Consulting Group of Anchorage, Alaska for the design of the Hillside Acres Water and Sewer Assessment Districts and result in an amount of $144,245.00; and

            WHEREAS, This award is not final until notice is received by Larson Consulting Group from the City of Homer.

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska hereby awards the Professional Engineering Design Services to Larson Consulting Group of Anchorage, Alaska for Hillside Acres Water and Sewer Assessment Districts in the amount of $144,425.00 and authorized the City Manager to Execute the Appropriate Documents.

            PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 26th day of August, 2002.
