RESOLUTION 02-56

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE HOMER SKATEBOARD PARK PAVING TO THE FIRM OF BUILDER’S SERVICES, INC. OF HOMER, ALASKA IN THE AMOUNT OF $19,044.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, Bid quotes were requested from available paving firms for the paving of the Homer Skateboard Park; and

WHEREAS, Public Works received two quotes with Builder’s Services, Inc. of Homer, Alaska submitting the lowest responsive and responsible bid in the amount of $19,044.00; and

WHEREAS, Public Works recommends awarding the paving contract to Builder’s Services, Inc.; and

WHEREAS, This award is not final until written notification is received by Builder’s Services, Inc., of Homer, Alaska by the City of Homer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska awards the contract for the Homer Skateboard Park Paving to the firm of Builder’s Services, Inc. of Homer, Alaska in the amount of $19,044.00 and that the City Manager is authorized to execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 9th day of September, 2002.
