RESOLUTION 03-10

A RESOLUTION OF THE HOMER CITY COUNCIL APPOINTING DEAN BAUGH AS INTERIM CITY MANAGER FROM JANUARY 30, 2003 TILL NEW CITY MANAGER TAKES OFFICE.

WHEREAS, Ron Drathman resigned effective January 29, 2003 and Council accepted his resignation; and

WHEREAS, A special meeting is scheduled for January 31, 2003 at 3 p.m. to selection the next City Manager; and

WHEREAS, It is unknown how long contract negotiations will take and/or when the next City Manager would be able to assume his duties.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Homer, Alaska hereby appoints Dean Baugh as Interim City Manager from January 30, 2003 till the new City Manager takes Office.

PASSED AND APPROVED by the Homer City Council this 27th day of January, 2003.
