RESOLUTION 03-120

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA AWARDING THE PROFESSIONAL PLANNING, ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE HOMER PUBLIC LIBRARY TO THE FIRM OF ECI/HYER OF ANCHORAGE, ALASKA IN THE AMOUNT OF $485,361.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, The Request for Proposals was advertised in the Homer Tribune on 06/18 ad 25/03, in the Peninsula Clarion on 06/22/03, in the Anchorage Daily News on 06/22/03, posted on Clerk's home page, and sent to three instate plans rooms; and

WHEREAS, Sealed proposals were due by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2003 and seven sealed proposals were received by the City Clerk's Office; and

WHEREAS, The selection team recommends award to ECI/Hyer of Anchorage, Alaska as the most qualified firm for this project; and

WHEREAS, This award is not final until notice is received by ECI/Hyer of Anchorage, Alaska from the City of Homer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska hereby awards the Professional Planning, Architectural and Engineering Services for the Homer Public Library to the firm of ECI/Hyer of Anchorage, Alaska in the amount of $485,361.00 and that the City Manager is hereby authorized execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 25th day of August, 2003.
