RESOLUTION 03-129

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA AWARDING THE HOMER POLICE DEPARTMENT FOUR WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE PURCHASE TO THE FIRM OF WORTHINGTON, FORD OF ANCHORAGE, ALASKA IN THE AMOUNT OF $30,928.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, The Homer Police Department requested bids from four Ford Dealers for a new Ford Excursion; and

WHEREAS, The Homer Police Department recommends award to Worthington Ford of Anchorage, Alaska in the amount of $30,928.00; and

WHEREAS, This award is not final until notice is received by Worthington Ford, of Anchorage, Alaska from the City of Homer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska hereby awards the Homer Police Department four wheel drive vehicle purchase to the firm of Worthington Ford of Anchorage, Alaska in the amount of $30,928.00 and that the City Manager is hereby authorized execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 13th day of October, 2003.
