RESOLUTION 03-13(S)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE COMMUNITY SCHOOLS AGREEMENT WITH THE KENAI PENINSULA BOROUGH FOR JOINT USE OF EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES FOR THE HOMER COMMUNITY SCHOOLS PROGRAM IN THE AMOUNT OF $21,640.00 FOR 2003.

WHEREAS, The City of Homer annually budgets for the continuance of the Agreement with the Kenai Peninsula Borough for Joint Use of Equipment and Facilities for the Homer Community Schools Program; and

WHEREAS, The Community Schools program is mutually beneficial to the City of Homer and Kenai Peninsula Borough; and

WHEREAS, The 2003 budget for the Community Schools Program is $27,000.00 and is in account 100.5812.175, Parks/Recreation/Cemetery.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska hereby authorizes the City Manager to Execute the Community Schools Agreement with the Kenai Peninsula Borough for Joint Use of Equipment and Facilities for the Homer Community Schools Program in the amount of $21,640.00.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 27th day of January, 2002.
