RESOLUTION 03-139

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA RENAMING UPLAND PLACE TO ORION CIRCLE WITHIN THE CITY OF HOMER.

WHEREAS, a method has been developed to help implement the Enhanced 9-1-1 Street Addressing project; and,

WHEREAS, with the annexation of additional streets some with names similar to existing streets within the City of Homer; and,

WHEREAS, streets with similar names within the same Emergency Service Number (ESN) area must be revised; and,

WHEREAS, the Homer Advisory Planning Commission held a public hearing on the proposed street name change on October 1, 2003.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska that the following street is renamed as follows:

Upland Place within Paradise South Subdivision to be named Orion Circle.
