RESOLUTION 03-19

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA ACCEPTING AND ACKNOWLEDGING THE CITY WIDE SURVEY DATED DECEMBER 2002 AS THE FINAL SURVEY.

WHEREAS, The Council authorized a City Wide Survey via Memorandum 02-40(A), Resolution 02-69 and that funds were appropriated via Ordinance 02-45; and

WHEREAS, The National Research Center, Inc. was hired to conduct the City Wide Survey; and

WHEREAS, The survey was conducted and results received December 2002; and

WHEREAS, Resolution 02-69, adopted October 14, 2002, in the fifth whereas clause stated that the survey would be for “City Council and public use”; and

WHEREAS, The survey is an essential tool for the City employees to ascertain areas of concern by the public and areas of public service that may need improvement.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska hereby accepts and acknowledges the City Wide Survey dated December 2002 as the final survey; and

BE, IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the survey is released to the City employees and the public.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 10th day of February, 2003.
