RESOLUTION 04-22

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE 2004 AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES WITH COASTAL ANIMAL CARE FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AND OPERATION OF THE HOMER ANIMAL SHELTER IN THE AMOUNT OF $39,480.00.

WHEREAS, Coastal Animal Care has contracted with the City of Homer Since July 1990 for the services and operations of the Homer Animal Shelter; and

WHEREAS, The 2004 Agreement is essentially the same as the prior year with an increase of $3,000.00 as budgeted; and

WHEREAS, The term of this agreement is from January 1, 2004 to December 31, 2004; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska hereby authorizes the City Manager to Execute the 2004 Agreement for Professional Services with Coastal Animal Care for professional services and the operation of the Homer Animal Shelter in the amount of $39,480.00.

            PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 23rd day of  February, 2004.
