RESOLUTION 04-43

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE FOR FINAL ADOPTION OF THE CITY OF HOMER’S LONG RANGE FISCAL PLAN.

WHEREAS, the Homer City Council has identified long range fiscal planning as a top priority to be addressed during the first six months of calendar year 2004, and

WHEREAS, the Council held fiscal planning workshops on February 23, March 8, and March 22, 2004, and

WHEREAS, the Council and the Homer Chamber of Commerce jointly sponsored an economic development and fiscal planning workshop on April 13^th, 2004, and

WHEREAS, The Council wishes to complete Tasks 4 and 5 identified in its adopted fiscal planning strategy prior to the beginning of summer activities and commencement of the FY 05 budget process.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council that the final fiscal planning worksession is scheduled for May 10^th, 2004 from 1PM to 4PM; the purpose of which is to review and revise the draft long range fiscal plan presented by the administration, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a public hearing on the long range fiscal plan shall be held at the regular City Council meeting on May 25^th, 2004. A resolution adopting the plan shall be also be included on the agenda for that meeting.
