RESOLUTION 04-45(A)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL ACCEPTING THE DRAFT LONG RANGE FISCAL PLAN, AS DISCUSSED, AND FORWARDING THIS TO THE PUBLIC FOR INPUT AND TO PUBLIC HEARING ON MAY 25, 2004.

WHEREAS, The Homer City Council has identified long range fiscal planning as a top priority to be addressed during the first six months of calendar year 2004, and

WHEREAS, The Council held fiscal planning workshops on February 23, March 8, and March 22, 2004, and

WHEREAS, The Council and the Homer Chamber of Commerce jointly sponsored an economic development and fiscal planning workshop on April 13th, 2004, and

WHEREAS, The Council wishes to complete the Long Range Fiscal Plan prior to the beginning of summer activities and commencement of the FY 05 budget process.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts the Draft Long Range Fiscal Plan, as discussed, and forwards this to the public for input and to public hearing on May 25, 2004.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of Homer, Alaska this 10th day of May, 2004.
