RESOLUTION 04-51

 

 

A RESOLUTION OF THE HOMER CITY COUNCIL ADOPTING AND APPROVING THE ATTACHED LONG RANGE FISCAL PLAN.

 

 

WHEREAS, The Homer City Council has identified long range fiscal planning as a top priority to be addressed during the first six months of calendar year 2004, and

 

WHEREAS, The Council held fiscal planning workshops on February 23, March 8, March 22, and May 10, 2004, and

 

WHEREAS, The Council and the Homer Chamber of Commerce jointly sponsored an economic development and fiscal planning workshop on April 13^th, 2004, and

 

WHEREAS, the Council held a public hearing on May 25^th 2004 and took various other steps to engage the public regarding long range fiscal planning.

 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Homer City Council hereby approves and adopts the Long Range Fiscal Plan, a copy of which is attached and incorporated herein, and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council requests that the Long Range Fiscal Plan be attached to the City Operating Budget  and referenced in all City Audits.
