A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HOMER, ACCEPTING AND ACKNOWLEDGING THE HOMER VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT (HVFD) 2004 STRATEGIC PLAN

WHEREAS. The City Council established the Fire Department Strategic Planning Committee via Memorandum 04-26, and

WHEREAS, The purpose of the Committee was to examine the current status of the fire department's operations ranging from day-to-day administrative functions, to training and emergency scene operations and use that data to predict future trends and needs.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Homer City Council hereby accepts and acknowledges the Homer Volunteer Fire Department 2004 Strategic Plan.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of Homer, Alaska this 26th day of July, 2004.
