RESOLUTION 04-72

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA EXTENDING THE AUDITOR CONTRACT WITH MIKUNDA, COTTRELL & CO. FOR 2004 AND 2005 IN THE AMOUNT OF $41,000.00 PER YEAR AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

            WHEREAS, Mikunda, Cottrell & Co. was awarded the Auditor Contract via Resolution 98-67; and

WHEREAS, the City has enjoyed a good working relationship with the auditors; and

WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of staff that the contract be extended for an additional two year period.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska extends the Auditor Contract with Mikunda, Cottrell & Co. for 2004 and 2005 in the amount of $41,000.00 per year and authorizes the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 9th day of August, 2004.
