RESOLUTION 04-82

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE CITY MANAGER'S CONTRACT.

WHEREAS, The City Council adopted Resolution 03-18(A) on January 31, 2003 to offer the job of City Manager to Walt Wrede; and

WHEREAS, On February 10, 2003 the City Council adopted Resolution 03-24 approving the contract with Walt Wrede for City Manager; and

WHEREAS, During the 2004 Budget process the Council stated that is a prime time to make adjustments to the Manager's Contract; and

WHEREAS, Council held an Executive Session on August 23, 2004 to conduct an evaluation of Walt E. Wrede's, City Manager, performance.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby amends City Manager Wrede's contract to increase his salary by $5,000.00, for a total of $90,000.00 and to increase his leave accrual by 6 days for a total of 30 days per year.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these amendments will be effective January 1, 2005 and will be incorporated into the 2005 Budget.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 27th day of September, 2004.

Fiscal Note: 100.5101.110 City Manager Salary. Annual impact with salary increase is $5,000.00 and with additional leave days is $2,076.48 based on $90,000.00.
