RESOLUTION 04-99

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA EXTENDING THE COURIER SERVICE CONTRACT WITH O'LEARY ENTERPRISES FOR 2005 IN THE AMOUNT OF $935 PER MONTH, PLUS ADDITIONAL TRIP FEES AS BID IN 2000 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, Tim O'Leary has been the City;'s Courier off and on since the mid 1980's; and

WHEREAS, Tim O'Leary, dba, O'Leary Enterprises has maintained a contract with the City for Courier Services since 1996; and

WHEREAS, The Administration recommends extension of the Courier Services Contract with Tim O'Leary, dba, O'Leary Enterprises from January 1 to December 31, 2005, believing it in the best interest of the City.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska hereby extends the Courier Services Contract with O'Leary Enterprises of Homer, Alaska in the amount of $935 per month, plus additional trip fees as bid in 2000 and authorizes the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that there are two optional one year extensions for 2006 and 2007.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 22nd day of November, 2004.
