RESOLUTION 05-01

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA AWARDING THE PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES FOR THE HOMER CONFERENCE CENTER FEASIBILITY STUDY TO THE FIRM OF CONVENTION SPORT AND LEISURE INTERNATIONAL (CSL INTERNATIONAL) OF MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $45,000.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, The Request for Proposals was advertised in the Homer News on October 28 and November 4, 2004 and in the Anchorage Daily News on October 31 and November 7, 2004, posted on Clerk's home page, and sent to four plans rooms; and

WHEREAS, Sealed proposals were due by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2004, by addenda, and six sealed proposals were received by the City Clerk's Office; and

WHEREAS, The selection team recommends award to CSL International of Minneapolis, Minnesota, as the most qualified firm for this project; and

WHEREAS, This award is not final until notice is received by CSL International of Minneapolis, Minnesota from the City of Homer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska hereby awards the Professional Consulting Services for the Homer Conference Center Feasibility Study to the Firm of Convention, Sport and Leisure International (CSL International) of Minneapolis, Minnesota, in an Amount not to Exceed $45,000.00 and that the City Manager is hereby authorized execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 10th day of January, 2005.
