RESOLUTION
05-103
A RESOLUTION OF THE
HOMER CITY COUNCIL ADOPTING THE FEDERAL LEGISLATIVE REQUEST CAPITAL PROJECT
LIST FOR FISCAL YEAR 2007 AND REQUESTING APPROPRIATE FUNDING.
WHEREAS, A duly
published hearing was held on September 26, 2005 in order to obtain public
comments on recommended Fiscal Year 2007 capital improvement projects and
legislative priorities; and
WHEREAS, It is the
intent of the City Council to provide the Alaska Congressional Delegation with
adequate information to represent the desires of the City concerning
legislative requests including necessary funding requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of Homer, Alaska that the following Capital
Improvement Projects are identified as priorities for the FY 2007 Federal
Legislative Request:
1. Deep Water Dock Expansion .
2. Water Treatment Plant
Upgrade/Alternative Water Source
3. East Boat Harbor
4. Homer Intersection Improvements
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED
that the City Manager is hereby instructed to advise the Alaska Congressional
Delegation and appropriate agencies of the FY2007 Federal Legislative Request
adopted by the Homer City Council and to take all appropriate steps to provide
the necessary background information.
PASSED AND APPROVED by a duly
constituted quorum of the City Council for the City of Homer on this 10th day
of October 2005.
