RESOLUTION 05-108

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE VIDEO SECURITY SYSTEM FOR THE HOMER AIRPORT TO PUFFIN ELECTRIC OF HOMER, ALASKA IN THE AMOUNT OF $34,152.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, The Request for Proposals was advertised in the Homer News on October 6 and 13, 2005, Anchorage Daily News on October 6, 2005 sent to plans rooms and posted on the City Clerk's Project Internet Web Site; and

WHEREAS, Sealed proposals were due by 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2005 and four sealed proposals were received by the City Clerk's Office; and

WHEREAS, Puffin Electric of Homer, Alaska has been selected and submitted a proposal amount of $34,152.00; and

WHEREAS, This award is not final until notice is received by Puffin Electric of Homer, Alaska from the City of Homer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska hereby awards the Contract for the Video Security System for the Homer Airport to Puffin Electric of Homer, Alaska in the amount of $34,152.00 and that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 14th day of November, 2005.
