RESOLUTION 05-11

A RESOLUTION OF THE HOMER CITY COUNCIL ESTABLISHING THE HOMER CONFERENCE CENTER FEASIBILITY STUDY STEERING COMMITTEE AND CONFIRMING THE MAYORAL APPOINTMENTS OF ANNE MARIE HOLEN, BETH MCKIBBEN, DENNIS NOVAK, BETH WYTHE, DEROTHA FERRARO, BILL SMITH, LANE CHESLEY, AND JOHN FENSKE AS COMMITTEE MEMBERS.

WHEREAS, The members of the Homer Conference Center Feasibility Study Proposal selection team wish to continue to assist the Firm of Convention, Sport and Leisure International (CSL International ) as the Feasibility Study Steering Committee and provide information on needs and resources of the community and ensure public involvement in the Feasibility Study; and .

WHEREAS, The members of the selection team Anne Marie Holen, Beth McKibben, Dennis Novak, Beth Wythe, Derotha Ferraro, Bill Smith, and John Fenske represent City Employees, City Government, the Chamber of Commerce, and other committees; and

WHEREAS, To facilitate the process and represent the Planning Commission Lane Chesley was added to the Steering Committee.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Homer, Alaska confirms the Mayoral appointments of Anne Marie Holen, Beth McKibben, Dennis Novak, Beth Wythe, Derotha Ferraro, Bill Smith, Lane Chesley, and John Fenske to the Homer Conference Center Feasibility Study Steering Committee and will sunset with the completion of the Feasibility Study which is due by June 20, 2005.

PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE HOMER CITY COUNCIL this 24th day of January, 2005.
