RESOLUTION 05-63

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE RENEWAL OF THE AGREEMENT FOR JOINT USE OF EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES FOR THE COMMUNITY SCHOOLS SUMMER PROGRAM IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, The City of Homer budgeted $27,000 for Community Schools in the 2005 Budget; and

WHEREAS, The Community Schools program is mutually beneficial to the City of Homer and Kenai Peninsula Borough.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska approves and accepts the renewal of the Agreement for Joint Use of Equipment and Facilities for the Community Schools Summer Program in the amount of $5,000.00 and authorizes the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 24th day of May, 2005.
