A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER,
ALASKA AWARDING THE BID FOR THE 2005 - 2007 PUBLIC
WORKS GRAVEL SUPPLY TO T & C ENTERPRISES OF
HOMER, ALASKA FOR 2" MINUS AT $9.32/CUBIC YARD, D-1
GRAVEL AT $11.99/CUBIC YARD AND TYPE II GRAVEL AT
$7.95/CUBIC YARD, TO CAMPBELL AND ASSOCIATES OF
ANCHOR POINT, ALASKA FOR WINTER SAND AT
$9.50/CUBIC YARD AND AIRPORT SAND AT $15.50/CUBIC
YARD AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, The Invitation to Bid was advertised in the Homer Tribune on April 20 and 27,
2005, sent to one in state plans room and was posted on the City's Home Page; and
WHEREAS, Sealed bids were due in the Office of the City Clerk by 2:00 p.m. on Thursday,
June 9, 2005; and
WHEREAS, Four sealed bids were received, and T & C Enterprises of Homer, Alaska submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid for 2" minus, and for D-1 and Type II Gravel and Campbell and Associations of Anchor Point, Alaska submitted the lowest responsible and responsive bid for Winter and Airport Sand; and
WHEREAS, These awards are not final until written notification is received by T & C
Enterprises of Homer, Alaska and by Campbell and Associates of Anchor Point, Alaska from the City
of Homer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska awards the bid for the 2005 - 2007 Public Works Gravel Supply to T & C Enterprises of Homer, Alaska for 2" Minus at $9.32/cubic yard, D-1 Gravel at $11.99/cubic yard and Type II Gravel at $7.95/cubic yard, to Campbell and Associates of Anchor Point, Alaska for Winter Sand at $9.50/cubic yard and Airport Sand at $15.50/cubic yard and authorizes the City Manager to Execute the appropriate documents.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 13th day of June, 2005.
