RESOLUTION 06-114

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA AWARDING THE 2006 SEPTIC TANK PUMPING CONTRACT TO HOMER SEPTIC SERVICES OF HOMER, ALASKA IN THE AMOUNT OF $18,000.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, The Invitation to Bid was advertised in the Homer Tribune on August 9 and 16, 2006 and was posted on the City Clerk's Project Internet Web Site; and

WHEREAS, Sealed bids were due by 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 18, 2006 and two sealed bids were received by the City Clerk's Office; and

WHEREAS, Homer Septic Services of Homer, Alaska submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid in the amount of $18,000.00; and

WHEREAS, This award is not final until notice is received by Homer Septic Tank Pumping of Homer, Alaska from the City of Homer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska hereby awards the 1006 Septic Tank Pumping Contract to Homer Septic Services of Homer, Alaska in the amount of $18,000.00 and that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 28th day of August, 2006.
