RESOLUTION 06-128

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL REQUESTING THAT ADMINISTRATION INCLUDE, IN THE CITY MANAGER'S REPORT, PROGRESS REPORTS ON LEGISLATIVE DIRECTIVES AND/OR REQUESTS.

WHEREAS, Mayor, Council, Advisory Bodies, City Administration and Departments are incredibly busy; and

WHEREAS, Mayor and Council make legislative directives and/or requests from time to time; and

WHEREAS, It is in the best interest of the City at large for the Mayor, Council and Administration to keep on top of legislative directives and/or requests; and

WHEREAS, It seems to be the easiest route to include reports on the legislative directives and/or requests through the City Manager's report included in the Council's Regular Meeting packets; and

WHEREAS, This will also serve to keep the public informed.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby requests that the administration include, in City Manager's Report, progress reports on legislative directives.

PASSED AND APPROVED by the Homer City Council this 11th day of September, 2006.
