RESOLUTION 06-75

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE AGREEMENT FOR JOINT USE OF EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES FOR THE COMMUNITY SCHOOLS PROGRAM WITH THE KENAI PENINSULA SCHOOL DISTRICT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS

WHEREAS, The Kenai Peninsula Borough School District and the City share common goals to provide opportunities and activities for the physical, mental and cultural development of their respective client groups through the Community Schools Program ; and

WHEREAS, The benefits from limited financial resources can be maximized by the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District and the City working together to provide facilities and programs to achieve their common goals.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska approves and accepts the Agreement for Joint Use of Equipment and Facilities for the Community Schools Program with the Kenai Peninsula School District and hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 26th day of June, 2006.
