RESOLUTION 06-84

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE CITY FEE SCHEDULE PORTION UNDER PORT AND HARBOR, PARKING FEES, TO PROVIDE FOR FREE PARKING FOR THOSE INDIVIDUALS WITH ASSIGNED RESERVED STALLS IN THE HOMER SMALL BOAT HARBOR.

WHEREAS, Renters of Homer Small Boat Harbor Reserved Stalls have approached the Council time and again requesting that their investment be recognized through free parking when using the Small Boat Harbor facility. and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the City Council hereby amends the City of Homer Fee Schedule, Port and Harbor fees to provide for free parking for those individuals with assigned Reserved Stalls in the Homer Small Boat Harbor as follows:

PORT AND HARBOR DEPARTMENT

PARKING FEES

Parking fees to be collected at Ramp 1, Ramp 2, Ramp 3 and Ramp 4, Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Two (2) to four (4) spaces at each Ramp are reserved as a "No Fee Loading Zone".

Parking fee is $5 per calendar day, with a time limit of one (1) day maximum stay.

The City of Homer Port and Harbor, Harbormaster's Office shall issue to each individual with an assigned reserved stall a parking pass that provides for free parking in the area between the Harbormaster's Office and the Salty Dawg only while using the Small Boat Harbor Facility or while using the boat assigned to that stall, up to 24 hours.
