RESOLUTION 06-88

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA ADOPTING THE 2006 CITY OF HOMER PANDEMIC FLU EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN AS AN ADDENDUM TO THE CITY'S, OVERALL, EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN.

WHEREAS, City Manager Wrede reported to the City Council on June 26, 2006 during the Regular Meeting that the City of Homer Pandemic Flu Response Plan has received quite a bit of activity, that Fire Chief Painter has attended training conferences and workshops; and

WHEREAS, The City and Borough are planning a series of community workshops; and

WHEREAS, The City of Homer Pandemic Flu Emergency Response Plan has been reviewed by an extensive local plan review team, the State Department of Health and Social Services and was copied to the Mayor and City Council.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Homer City Council hereby adopts the 2006 City of Homer, Pandemic Flu Emergency Response Plan as an Addendum to the City's, Over All, Emergency Response Plan.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of July, 2006 by the Homer City Council.
