RESOLUTION 06-89

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE DESIGNATION AND ADDITION OF A T-BALL FIELD TO KAREN HORNADAY PARK MASTER PLAN.

WHEREAS, The Council adopted the Karen Hornaday Park, (officially - Karen Hornaday Hillside City Park) Master Plan on August 24, 1998 via Memorandum 98-186; and

WHEREAS, The Homer Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission is requesting that the Council authorize the addition of a T-Ball Field to the Karen Hornaday Park Master Plan on the south westerly undesignated corner of the Park.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the addition of a T-Ball Field to the Karen Hornaday Park Master Plan is hereby authorized and the designated location is the south westerly corner of the Park as noted on the attached map.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of Homer, Alaska this 24th day of July, 2006.
