RESOLUTION 07-46

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA APPROVING THE AWARD OF THE FINAL DESIGN OF THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS TO THE FIRM OF HDR OF ANCHORAGE, ALASKA IN THE AMOUNT OF $254,356.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, The City has awarded the preliminary design contract for the Water Treatment Plant Improvement project to HDR in the amount of $300,899.00 and they have completed the work; and

WHEREAS, The additional cost to complete the final design is $254,356.00; and

WHEREAS, This award is not final until notice is received by HDR of Anchorage, Alaska from the City of Homer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska hereby awards the Final Design of Improvements for the Water Treatment Plant to the firm of HDR of Anchorage, Alaska in the amount of $254,356.00, and that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 12^th day of March, 2007.
