RESOLUTION 07-65

 

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA AWARDING A LEASE FOR CITY PROPERTY ON THE HOMER SPIT, LOT 12C PORT INDUSTRIAL SUBDIVISION NO. 4 TO HARBOR LEASING LLC, OF HOMER, ALASKA IN THE AMOUNT OF $                                      AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

 

WHEREAS, The Advertisement for Sealed Bids to lease City property on the Homer Spit was advertised in the Homer News on February 2 and 7, 2007, the Anchorage Daily News February 4 and 11, 2007, Pacific Fishing Magazine and posted on the City Clerk's Project Internet Site; and

 

WHEREAS, Sealed bids/proposals were due by 2 p.m. March 16, 2007 in the Office of the City Clerk; and

 

WHEREAS, One sealed bid/proposal was received from Harbor Leasing, LLC of Homer, Alaska; and

 

WHEREAS, Pursuant to the Property Management Policy and Procedures Manual the Council authorized the Lease Negotiating Committee, via Memorandum 07-59 on April 9, 2007 during a Regular Council meeting, to negotiate a lease with Harbor Leasing LLC of Homer, Alaska; and

 

WHEREAS, This lease is for a term of ____________ years with _________ renewals; and

 

WHEREAS, This award is not final until notice is received by Harbor Leasing LLC of Homer, Alaska from the City of Homer.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska hereby awards a Spit Lease of Lot 12C Port Industrial Subdivision No. 4 to Harbor Leasing, LLC of Homer, Alaska in the amount of $_______________ and that the City Manager is hereby authorized execute the appropriate documents.

 

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 14th day of May, 2007.
