RESOLUTION 09-124

A RESOLUTION OF THE HOMER CITY COUNCIL APPROVING A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TO PROVIDE STAFFING RECRUITMENT AND HIRING SERVICES.

WHEREAS, It is desirable to the City of Homer to fill vacant positions in a efficient manner; and

WHEREAS, The City can often incur considerable expense with in-house recruiting activities; and

WHEREAS, There exists the potential for conflicts of the public interest and compromised staff relations with in-house recruiting.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Homer City Council approves a Request for Proposals for Staff Recruitment and Hiring Services and authorizes the City Manager to begin advertising.
