RESOLUTION 09-33(A)

 

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVING THE CITY OF HOMER 2009 LAND ALLOCATION PLAN.

 

            WHEREAS, The Property Management Policy and Procedures Manual sets policy for municipal land management; and

 

            WHEREAS, Chapter 3 of the Property Management Policy and Procedures Manual establishes that a Land Allocation Plan will be developed annually; and

 

            WHEREAS, The City Council, the Homer Advisory Commissions, with members of the Lease    Committee present, discussed the Land Allocation Plan during a Joint Worksession on February 23, 2009; and

 

            WHEREAS, The City Council continued discussions on March 9, 2009 during Committee of the Whole; and

 

            WHEREAS, The recommendations via Memorandums 09-22, 09-23, 09-24 and 09-27 from the Lease Committee, Library Advisory Board, Port and Harbor Advisory Commission and Economic Development Advisory Commission were considered.

 

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the City of Homer 2009 Land Allocation Plan is hereby approved with the following notations changes:

 

Remove Lot 12-B City of Homer Port Industrial Subdivision No 4 from lots that may be leased until the drainage issues are resolved.

 

Dedicate road access for Virginia Lynn Way, across Lot 2 Block 4 Lakeside Village Subdivision Amended. Hold the remainder of the lot for use as a public neighborhood park.

 

Sell Lots 43, 44 and 79 Oscar Munson Subdivision.

 

Issue a Request for Proposals for Lots 19-21, Homer Spit Subdivision No 5.

 

            PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 23rd day of March, 2009.
