RESOLUTION 09-71

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE CITY OF HOMER PROCUREMENT POLICY AND PROCEDURES MANUAL, CAPITAL EQUIPMENT PROCUREMENT POLICY, TO INCREASE CAPITALIATIZATION OF EQUIPMENT FROM $5,000 TO $10,000.

WHEREAS, Equipment prices have increased substantially since the $5,000 capitalization limit was established for the Procurement Policy and Procedures Manual; and

WHEREAS, It is necessary to increase the capital equipment capitalization amount to $10,000 per equipment purchase to adjust for inflation.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Homer City Council that the Procurement Policy and Procedures Manual, Capital Equipment Procurement Policy, Capital Equipment Limitations is increased from $5,000 to $10,000.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 22^nd day of June, 2009.
