RESOLUTION 09-90

 

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, RESOLVING TO HAVE THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL PROVIDE THEIR OWN BROWN BAG LUNCHES FOR WORKSESSIONS AND SPECIAL MEETINGS.

 

            WHEREAS, The economic climate makes it necessary for Mayor and Council, along with City departments, to use necessary means to curtail spending; and

 

            WHEREAS, In an effort to cut expenses from the Mayor and Council’s budget, the Mayor and Council will provide their own brown bag lunches for work sessions and special meetings; and

           

            WHEREAS, It is anticipated $1,500 will be saved by Mayor and Council converting to brown bag lunches.

 

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Homer City Council hereby resolves to provided their own brown bag lunches for worksessions and special meetings.

 

            PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 24th day of August, 2009.
