RESOLUTION 09-92

A RESOLUTION Of the City Council of Homer, Alaska, awarding the 2009 SEPTIC PUMPING CONTRACT to the firm of HOMER SEPTIC SERVICES OF aNCHOR point, ALASKA, in the amount of $30,000 AND $230 PER TANK FOR ADDITIONAL TANKS and authorizing the city manager to execute the appropriate documents.

WHEREAS, The Invitation to Bid was advertised in the Homer News on August 6, and August 13, 2009, and posted on the Clerk’s website; and

            WHEREAS, Sealed bids were due in the Office of the City Clerk by 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2009; and

            WHEREAS, One sealed bid was received and Homer Septic Services submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid for the 2009 Septic Pumping Contract; and

            WHEREAS, This award is not final until written notification is received by Homer Septic Services from the City of Homer.

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska, awards the 2009 Septic Pumping Contract to the firm of Homer Septic Services of Anchor Point, Alaska, in the amount of $30,000 and $230 per tank for additional tanks and authorizes the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 24^th day of August, 2009.
