RESOLUTION 10-26
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, AWARDING
THE CONTRACT FOR WEBSITE REDESIGN, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION TO THE FIRM
OF AHA CONSULTING INC. OF LAKE OSWEGO, OREGON, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $20,000
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE THE CONTRACT AND PREPARE THE
APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Resolution 09-117 authorized the issuance of
a Request for Proposals for redesign, development and implementation of the
City of Homer website; and
WHEREAS, The Request for Proposals was advertised in
the Homer Tribune on November 11, 2009, the Homer News on November 19, 2009,
the Anchorage Daily News on November 8 and 15, 2009, posted on the Clerk’s home
page, and mailed to two plans rooms within the State of Alaska; and
WHEREAS, Proposals were due by 4:30 p.m. on Monday,
December 7, 2009 and eleven proposals were received by the City Clerk's Office;
and
WHEREAS, A Website Redesign Review Committee
consisting of representatives from each City department reviewed and scored the
responsive proposals, determined the top three proposals, conducted reference
checks of the proposers, and participated in demonstrations and interviews with
the RFP finalists; and
WHEREAS, After thorough
evaluation of the capabilities, expertise and pricing offered by the proposers,
the Website Redesign Review Committee recommends the firm of Aha Consulting
Inc. of Lake Oswego, Oregon, as the appropriate firm for this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
Homer, Alaska, awards the contract for Website Redesign, Development and
Implementation to the firm of Aha Consulting Inc. of Lake Oswego, Oregon, in an
amount not to exceed $20,000 and authorizes the City Manager to negotiate the contract and prepare the
appropriate documents.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 8th
day of March, 2010.
