RESOLUTION 10-35(A)

 

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVING THE CITY OF HOMER 2010 LAND ALLOCATION PLAN.

 

            WHEREAS, The Property Management Policy and Procedures Manual sets policy for municipal land management; and

 

            WHEREAS, Chapter 3 of the Property Management Policy and Procedures Manual establishes that a Land Allocation Plan will be developed annually; and

 

            WHEREAS, The City Council, the Homer Advisory Commissions, with members of the Planning and Port and Harbor Advisory Commissions present, discussed the Land Allocation Plan during a Joint Worksession on March 22, 2010; and

 

            WHEREAS, The recommendations via Memorandums 10-45 and 10-46 from the Lease Committee and Port and Harbor Advisory Commission were considered.

 

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the City of Homer 2010 Land Allocation Plan is hereby approved with the following notation changes:

 

1.                  Page C-17: Lot 12-B City of Homer Port Industrial Subdivision No. 4:       Administration is directed to address the drainage problems and usage of        this lot.

 

2.                  Page D-9: Replat the Sewer Treatment Plant lots to vacate the common lot             line.

 

3.                  Page A-5: Lots 4-11 Homer Spit No. 5; Page D-14: Lots 1-3 Homer Spit    No. 5; and Page D-13 & 14: Lots 28-37 Homer Spit No. 2: Administration        to prepare a plan for organized parking and fee collection.

 

4.                  Designate an area from Freight Dock Road to within 150 feet of Ramp      Five for short term, one to two year leases, for small kiosk businesses      under 250 square feet.

 

            PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 12th day of April, 2010.
