RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER,
ALASKA, NOTING THE INSUFFICIENCY OF THE PETITION FOR CRITTENDEN ROAD
IMPROVEMENTS.
WHEREAS, The petition was circulated from May to July
2010; and
WHEREAS, Signatures from property owners in favor of the road improvements petition
equal zero percent of the property value; and
WHEREAS, Pursuant to HCC 17.04.030(b) application sufficiency requires
signatures on the petition of at least fifty percent or more in value of the property to be
benefitted by the improvement; and
WHEREAS, This does not preclude further petitioning by
property owners for road improvements or any other type of improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska, notes
the insufficiency of the petition for Crittenden Road Improvements.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the same local improvement district request and
petition may not be submitted for at least six months from the date of the
adoption of the resolution; and that the same requesters/property owners may
file with the City Clerk a request for the same improvements for a modified
area within thirty days from the date of the adoption of the resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of Homer, Alaska, this 23rd
day of August, 2010.
