A RESOLUTION OF THE HOMER CITY COUNCIL SUPPORTING THE ADOT/PF STIP REHABILITATION PROJECT OF BUNNELL STREET/OHLSON LANE AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF HOMER TO TAKE OVER THE MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITY OF BUNNELL STREET/OHLSON LANE AFTER PROJECT COMPLETION.

WHEREAS, the City Council nominated the Bunnell Street/Ohlson Lane Rehabilitation project for the STIP list via Resolution 99-88, adopted on September 27, 1999; and

WHEREAS, the City requests that the rehabilitation include paving, curbs & gutters, sidewalks and storm sewer; and

WHEREAS, the Alaska Department of Transportation/Public Facilities has informed the City that authorization for the City to take over the maintenance of Bunnell Street and Ohlson Lane will raise the rating of this STIP Rehabilitation project.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Homer City Council supports the ADOT/PF STIP rehabilitation project of Bunnell Street/Ohlson Lane and that the City of Homer is authorized to take over the maintenance responsibility of Bunnell Street/Ohlson Lane after project completion; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution is effective immediately upon adoption and will be forwarded to ADOT/PF.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 22nd day of November, 1999.
