A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA AWARDING THE METAL BUILDING TO SERVE AS A WASTE OIL TRANSFER STATION TO THE FIRM OF H.A.P ENTERPRISES, INC., OF ANCHORAGE, ALASKA IN THE AMOUNT OF $16,487 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the invitation to bid was advertised in the Homer News on August 12 & 19, 1999, in the Anchorage Daily News on August 12, 19 & 26, 1999 and the Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce on August 12, 19 &26 1999, sent to three Plans Rooms in state and posted on the City's Home Page; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were due in the Office of the City Clerk by 2:00 p.m. on September 2, 1999; and
WHEREAS, six sealed bids were received with H.A. P. Enterprises, Inc. of Anchorage, Alaska submitting the lowest responsive in the amount of $16,487; and
WHEREAS, the award is not final until written notification is received by H.A. P. Enterprises, Inc. from the City of Homer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska awards the Metal Building to serve as a Waste Oil Transfer Station to the firm of H.A. P. Enterprises, Inc., of Anchorage, Alaska in the amount of $16,487 and authorizes the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents.
