A RESOLUTION OF THE HOMER CITY COUNCIL ADOPTING THE "CITY OF HOMER CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM 2000 THROUGH 2005" AS THE OFFICIAL SIX YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN FOR THE CITY OF HOMER.
WHEREAS, the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) is a long term guide for capital expenditures; and
WHEREAS, the City intends to use the CIP as a guide for capital expenditures; and
WHEREAS, the City of Homer CIP process has involved consideration of existing plans, programmatic needs and public input; and
WHEREAS, the CIP process has also involved a public nomination and comment process; and
WHEREAS, the CIP compliments the legislative priorities, City Budget and Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Homer City Council held a public hearing on the Capital Improvement Program on September 27, 1999.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Homer, Alaska that the "City of Homer Capital Improvement Plan 2000 through 2005" is hereby adopted as the official six year Capital Improvement Plan for the City of Homer.
