RESOLUTION 99-97

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA AWARDING THE 2000 COURIER SERVICE CONTRACT TO O'LEARY ENTERPRISES IN THE AMOUNT OF $775 PER MONTH, PLUS ADDITIONAL TRIP FEES AS BID AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, the invitation to bid was advertised in the Homer News on September 30 and October 7, 1999, and posted on the City's Home Page; and

WHEREAS, sealed bids were due in the Office of the City Clerk by 2:00 p.m. on October 14, 1999; and

WHEREAS, one sealed bid was received from O'Leary Enterprises of Homer, Alaska and is responsive in the amount of $775 per month plus extra trip charges of - In Town - $3 per trip, Spit Trips - $7 per trip and freight delivery or pickup at $0 if under 60 pounds and $.05 for each additional pound; and

WHEREAS, the award is not final until written notification is received by O'Leary Enterprises from the City of Homer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska awards the 2000 Courier Services Contract to O'Leary Enterprises Homer, Alaska in the amount of $775 per month, plus additional trip fees as bid and authorizes the City Manager to execute the appropriate documents.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 25th day of October, 1999.
