The City of Homer has been working with the Kenai Peninsula Borough and other cities on the Peninsula to complete a Comprehensive Action Plan with a goal to help reduce serious injuries and traffic fatalities on our roads.

The plan follows the Safe System Approach National Roadway Safety Strategy developed by the United States Department of Transportation and is intended to help us understand the causes and contributing factors, and identify opportunities to improve safety, especially for areas of highest concern.

Planners have arrived at preliminary recommendations, completed a draft of the plan and they want your feedback

You can read the plan online now and submit comments on their website until April 30th!
